My top three unforgettable memories in my career are in descending order:

♦ My silver medal in the 50 km at the Olympic Games in Barcelona 1992. This achievement at the Games in Spain has contributed to an international recognition and to the acquisition of eternal fame in my country, Mexico;

♦ My victory in the 20 km at the World Race walking Cup in New York 1987, crowned with a personal best time of 1 h 19' 24" ;

♦ My top-2 position on the prestigious Mexican all-time ranking of the 50 km Race walk.
